whats the difference between a ceramic and traditional air stones.?
most airstones and bubble wands seem to be made of sponge like material , but i also seen a ceramic airstone, which should i get? whats the differences and pros and cons of each?
The ceramic ones make smaller bubbles and also seam to last a lot longer. I don’t really see any pros/cons as they both do a great job depending on your personal preference. I personally think it’s worth the extra money for the ceramic ones because I prefer smaller bubbles and they just seam to be overall better quality than the other types. But like I said, it’s really just a matter of what you prefer and if it’s worth the extra money to you. Also, I have had probably 10 of the other types break over the years if you try to pull it off the air line but I’ve never had a ceramic one break
